Armenian Association of Radiologists

A seminar entitled “Interdisciplinary Solutions to the Contemporary Issues of Ovarian Tumor Diagnosis (Ultrasound, CT, MRI) and Treatment” took place in Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Conference –hall on October 15 -16. The seminar was organized by the Armenian Association of Ultrasound Diagnosis in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Armenian Association of Radiologists under the sponsorship of Ar. Medtechnique company, which is the representative  of General Electric in Armenia. Among the reporters during the symposium  there were three members of the Armenian Association of Radiologists, whose reports were on following topics:

–   The role of CT in the diagnosis and staging of primary and metastatic ovarian tumors. Diagnosis of recurrent malignancy and assessment of treatment effectiveness. (Kostan Galumyan, President of Armenian Association of Radiologists, leading specialist of CT services at Nairi MC.

–  The role of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in the diagnosis of ovarian tumors. (Narek Matinyan, secretary of the Armenian Association of Radiologists, head of the MIBS- Yerevan Medical Center MRI department).

– MRI of small pelvic organs (Armen Vasilyan, member of Armenian Association of Radiologists, leading specialist of MRI, Nairi MC).

Many Gynecologists and Radiologists not only from Yerevan, but also from different regions of Armenia were present at the seminar.
