Armenian Association of Radiologists

During the visit of the delegation of the Armenian Association of Radiologists to Vienna, for the ECR 2017, a meeting was organized with the initiatives of Prof. Nicholas Gourtsoyiannis, Scientific/Educational Director of the European School of Radiology (ESOR) with Kostan Galumyan, President of the Armenian Association of Radiologists. Prof. Gourtsoyiannis warmely welcomed the activities of the Association. He congratulated Mr. Galumyan as the Armenian Association of Radiologists has recently become ESR national member society.

During the meeting cooperation issues were discussed.

Prof. Gourtsoyiannis also mentioned that he always wanted to visit Armenia, so he will be happy to be there in the framework of ESOR course.

This year one of the famouse ESOR pragrammes is planned to be held in Yerevan on June 29-30. It is ASKLEPIOS course on Advanced Abdominal Imaging, that is open to radiologists from Russia and CIS countries. For more information on this course visit ESOR official website.

Prof Gourtsoyiannis also mentioned other educational seminars will be organized jointly with the Armenian Association of Radiologists in the nearest future.
